Cord recently teamed up with Bustronome, London’s first gastronomic double decker bus, to create a unique dining experience.

Guests aboard Bustronome’s double-decker fine dining restaurant enjoyed an exquisite menu crafted by Cord’s Executive Chef Karl O’Dell and his talented brigade, whilst experiencing unparalleled views of some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Two buses were chartered for the event, both decked out to show off examples of some of Cord’s stunning dishes.

The menu for the event featured a delicious selection of dishes from the menu at Cord, including scallop ceviche, Rhug Estate rack of lamb and Brie de Meaux. Guests dined in style and comfort whilst seated in Bustronome’s mobile restaurant whilst taking in the panoramic view of the city.

To complete the experience, Cord’s sommelier, Jiachen Lu, curated a selection of wines and non-alcoholic beverages to pair perfectly with the menu.

This event was part of Le Cordon Bleu Summer Festival, which celebrates all things gastronomic. While Cord served guests aboard Bustronome, attendees at the Summer Festival took part in workshops, joined in with culinary themed games, attended Guest Chef demonstrations and sampled quality products at the Salon Gourmet.
