The Great Fleet Street Quarter Cook Off 2024 on Friday 22nd March

With exciting prizes up for grabs and the chance to learn from world-renowned chefs, this is an event not to be missed.

Entries are welcome from anyone working for a business located in the Fleet Street Quarter area.

The Fleet Street Quarter Cook Off is a unique event that will bring together businesses from the local community to showcase their culinary skills. Participants will have the opportunity to cook and present their dishes in front of a panel of judges, including top chefs from Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute.

This is not just a cooking competition, but a chance to network and build relationships with other businesses in the area.

Prizes include a night's stay at the luxurious Apex Temple Court, a dinner with wine tasting for four at Lazy Ballerinas, a special CORD hamper and many more!

Participants will not only learn new techniques and recipes, but they will also gain valuable insights from industry professionals.

How does the competition work?

Fill in this short form before Friday 16th February about why you would like to take part and represent your Business.

Successful applicants will be invited to the semi-final heats held on Friday 8th & 15th March, 2pm – 6pm at CORD. Kindly note these times cannot be changed, so please check your availability in advance of entering.

With guidance from Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs, entrants will be tasked with replicating a dish before plating-up for judges Lulu Grimes, Managing Editor, Good Food Magazine, and Lorenzo Stella, Head Chef at Apex Temple Court.

If you are successful in the heats, you will be invited to the final on Friday 22nd March, 2pm – 6pm at CORD, followed by a drinks reception and prize-giving ceremony. The final will be all about seasonal food and judged by an all-star culinary panel – more details on this in due course.
